Local Groups Guide
If you are interested in hosting or attending a Silent Local Group in your area, the following guide may help to get you started.

Hosting a Silent Local Group
Eckhart recommends the following format: the group may begin with ten to twenty minutes of silence (silent meditation), 1 to 1 1/2 hours of an Eckhart Tolle audio or visual recording, ending with ten to twenty minutes of silence (silent meditation). It is best not to engage in discussion, as it tends to stimulate the mind and ego.
Your group will need a location where you can comfortably listen to or view the recordings. This could be in your own home, a friend's home or a room in a local community building.
To register your group on EckhartTolle.com, please complete the online registration form. There is a $35.00 USD registration fee, payable online by Visa or Mastercard.
As a Group Facilitator, you will need to acquire at least one of Eckhart’s CDs and/or DVDs for your group. Many Group Facilitators request small donations from their attendees to help cover the cost of purchasing audio/visual materials.
Please Note: Eckhart Teachings reserves the right to remove any group listing, without notice, due to reasons such as group inactivity, complaints received, or any other reasonable grounds. The Group Facilitator registration fee is non-refundable.

Your Group Facilitator Account
During registration, you will create an account with your email address and a password of your choice. Your account allows you to edit your group listing whenever you wish.
Passwords are case sensitive. If you forget your password, select the “Forgot Password” prompt. Enter your email address and hit “Next”. You will receive a new password by email. Once you are logged in, you can change your password by selecting the Change Password option.
We sincerely ask that you do not share your Group Facilitator account with anyone else. Any misuse will result in your account being suspended and removed from the website without notice.

Updating your Profile.
To update your Profile, log in to your account and select Change Profile. Here you can update the information that is displayed for your group listing and provide basic information about yourself as the facilitator of the group. When you have finished updating your information, hit “Save”.
Important: When the listing status is set to “Published”, all the information you have provided will display under the Local Groups search section. If the status is set to “Unpublished”, your listing will not appear on the site.
